The American Association of Endocrine Surgeons invites you to attend the 38th Annual meeting of the AAES. The 2017 meeting will feature a unique collaborative opportunity as we are hosting a concurrent meeting with the Endocrine Society in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Orlando Convention Center. The meeting will take place from Sunday April 2nd through Tuesday April 4th, 2017.
AAES is the leading endocrine surgery association in North America. Last year, there were over 500 attendees at the annual meeting, including a large number of National and International Endocrine Surgeons, Otolaryngologists, Endocrinologists, and other Allied Health Members from community-based practices to academic institutions.
As always, the meeting will feature our traditional scientific sessions for oral and poster presentations as well as the Historical and Presidential Invited lectures. In 2017, our ability to collaborate with the Endocrine Society provides a unique opportunity to feature special symposia that are jointly hosted. Among these are symposia on thyroid cancer, interesting case presentations, and video-based education sessions. Also, the AAES and Endocrine Society will jointly host both basic and advanced thyroid and parathyroid ultrasound courses featuring didactic and hands-on learning stations: this will be offered to members of both societies on the Saturday preceding the meeting (April 1st). Our fellows will also receive the latest updates in Endocrine Surgery by an outstanding faculty at Endocrine Surgery University!
The Orlando area and its warm climate will also allow for our always popular golf and tennis tournaments and the return of the Paul LoGerfo 5K Fun Run. Famous for adventure resorts, Orlando and the surrounding area present some fun opportunities for daytime and evening events to enjoy with your AAES friends and your family – look to the AAES website for highlights of social events in the upcoming months.
We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!
