ENDOCRINE FELLOWSHIPS

Procedure information for 2008 Endocrine Surgery Fellowship Match:

The American Association of Endocrine Surgeons is sponsoring a Match to place applicants into AAES clinical endocrine fellowship positions starting in July 2009. The deadline for applicants and programs to submit rank lists is Midnight, Tuesday September 2th, 2008.

These lists should be emailed to Allan Siperstein MD at sipersa@ccf.org with the subject reading "AAES Match". There is no specific form that needs to be submitted. Applicants should send a numbered rank list of their preferred programs with their top choice listed as #1. A reply email will be sent to confirm receipt of the list as well as to address any needed clarifications. Please include a contact phone number should it be necessary to resolve any more complex issues.

Program directors should similarly submit a numbered rank list with the top applicant listed as #1. Also indicate the number of positions to be filled in the match. A reply email will be sent to confirm receipt of the list as well as to address any needed clarifications.

The applicant and program lists will be coded so that the ranking is performed in a blinded fashion and the results will be independently verified by another institution. Results will be sent by email on or before Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 to both applicants and programs.
